What are the requirements for operating or riding in a UTV?
All individuals must be 16 years or older w/ a valid drivers license to operate our vehicles. If driver is between the ages of 16 and 21, they must purchase walk away insurance for $50/day. ATV Passengers must be 5 years or older, UTV passengers have no age limit but anyone under 5 years of age must be in a car seat. Please bring your drivers license and credit card for the damage deposit.
Is learning how to drive a UTV beginner friendly?
Safety Instructions on how to operate the ATV are included in the rental. All of our machines have automatic transmission, acceptable for beginners and advanced riders alike. First-time drivers will not have any trouble learning the ropes but may consider adding the walk-away insurance.
What kind of gear should we wear?
We recommend hiking attire; closed toe shoes, long pants, layers in case of weather changes, and a rain jacket because you never know what weather will happen in Colorado. You are in an open-air vehicle driving through dusty and muddy trails so wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend covering your face with a buff or hankerchief. Helmets are included and mandatory. Eye protection is required; we have goggles available for rent.
Do I need to sign a wavier?
Yes, all riders must sign a liability and equipment waiver. Don't forget to bring a valid driver's license and a credit card for the damage waiver.

Yes—kids 5+ on ATVs, UTVs accommodate all ages; car seats needed under age 5
